Removal of Benign Skin Lesions

Skin tags and selected benign skin imperfections can be treated using Cryotherapy or Plasma Fibroblast. The most suitable method depends on the lesion type, size, quantity and location.

Precision freezing treatment

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is a quick and precise freezing treatment used to remove selected skin imperfections. Using the CryoPen, a jet of super-cold gas is delivered under high pressure to freeze the intracellular fluid within the targeted tissue.

The treatment is designed to target the lesion while minimising damage to the surrounding healthy skin.

Controlled plasma treatment

Plasma Fibroblast

Plasma Fibroblast is a non-invasive treatment that uses a plasma device to generate a controlled micro-injury on the skin's surface. For skin tag treatment, this helps dry and shrink the targeted tissue.

The technique is precise, requires minimal downtime and is suited to selected small benign lesions. Results are usually seen as the treated area naturally heals over the following days.

The appropriate method for lesion removal is confirmed following assessment of the lesion and treatment area.

Deoxycholic acid treatment

Deso Fat Dissolving Injections

Deso is a fat dissolving treatment using deoxycholic acid. The treatment works by disrupting targeted fat cells, which are then naturally processed and eliminated by the body.

It can be used for selected areas on the face or body. A course of treatments is commonly recommended depending on the treatment area and desired result.

The number of vials required is individual and will be discussed following assessment.

Reduce excessive underarm sweating

Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating that can significantly affect confidence, wellbeing and daily life. It may affect areas including the armpits, hands, feet, back and face.

At Age With Elegance, Botulinum Toxin A can be used to reduce cosmetically unpleasant underarm sweating. The treatment works by temporarily blocking the nerves responsible for activating the sweat glands.

A topical anaesthetic is applied for comfort. After the skin is cleansed and sweat pores are identified, a series of small injections is administered to reduce sweat production.

How It Works:
