CLIENT SPOTLIGHT
Cy is a lady who started her aesthetics journey with Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Care back in 2019. Her concerns were non-specific, but didn’t like the way she looked and wanted some help to improve her skin quality and features. On assessment she had significant ageing/sun damaged skin and significant volume loss along with deep lines and wrinkles, which were generalized throughout her whole face. The consultation included conversations such that her treatment would be a journey over several months and definitely not an overnight fix.
We planned her treatment as follows taking into account her budget. She was keen to save, and undergo any necessary treatments every 2-3 months as required.
PHASE 1
We started with a good skin care regime using Obagi Medical Grade Anti-Oxidant System. This included:
Obagi C-Rx Cleansing Gel – Helps to treat congestion and lack of radiance giving fresh feeling skin. This cleanser removes impurities and contains vitamin C to brighten the skin and create a radiant glow.
Professional-C Microdermabrasion Polish + Mask – used 2-3 times a week to exfoliate and infuse the skin with 30% Vitamin C for instantly luminous skin
Professional-C Serum 15% – for daily Vitamin C protection and rejuvenation
Professional-C Peptide Complex – each evening to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve firmness.
Hydrate moisturiser – for up to 8 hours of skin hydration
Professional-C Suncare SPF30 – for daily UVA/UVB protection + 10% Vitamin C
Obagi 1% Retinol – was added to the regime after a few weeks.
- Promotes skin turnover for a more youthful-looking appearance
- Smoother skin texture and even skin tone for a brighter looking complexion
- An emollient cream-based formula that conditions the skin (shea butter and jojoba oil)
- Gentle for skin
This has been her on-going skin care regime since.
PHASE 2
We embarked upon regular anti-wrinkle treatments using;
Botulinium Toxin A – initially every 3 months, increasing the gap to every 4-5 months once control had been gained of muscle activity.
After 3 sessions of Botulinium Toxin A treatment, it became apparent that the frown lines (11’s) were not going to relax any further with this treatment so we very cautiously treated the lines with a very soft dermal filler – Teosyal RHA 1.
The next stage was to work on volume loss in the mid-face area and address the deep wrinkles in the peri-oral area mouth area. A combination of Teosyal Ultra Deep and RHA 4 dermal fillers were used to enhance the cheeks and a combination of Teosyal RHA 3 and RHA 2 used to address the nose to mouth lines, mouth to chin lines and the other deep lines above and below her lips. The vermillion border was supported with Teosyal RHA 2 to help reduce the visible lines around her mouth.
PHASE 3
We are approximately 4 months into treatments now and already a massive improvement can be seen!
The next stage of the journey was to address skin texture and laxity. This began with a course of Sunekos®.
Sunekos® is made of a patented formula of Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acids, which work together to stimulate the production of Collagen and Elastin, enabling Extra Cellular Matrix regeneration.
Hyaluronic acid (HA): HA can have a variety of effects, depending on its molecular size. Sunekos® uses its property of hydrating the skin to make it brighter and smoother, and also to stimulate the fibroblast cells to make more collagen and elastin, both of which are important for skin firmness and elasticity.
Amino acids: Amino acids are the building blocks for making the proteins collagen and elastin. Sunekos uses 8 specific amino acids as raw materials for your cells to use. Cy had a course of 4 Sunekos treatments (1×1200 followed by 3 x 200) 1-2 weeks apart
PHASE 4
The next step in the skin rejuvenation process was a course of BioRePeel superficial skin peels. These were done in conjunction with Age with Elegance Signature Facials one month apart. BioRePeelCl3 is an innovative, biphasic, patented medical device with a bio stimulating, revitalising and peeling action. Thanks to its exfoliating and keratolytic action, it promotes cell turnover by removing the outer corneal layer cells with selective action on corneocytes’ junction bonds.
The active ingredients’ derma functionality contributes to a profound stimulation of skin replication and biosynthetic processes, essential to counter the effects of skin aging and oxidative damage induced by UV radiation and pollution.
Towards the end of 2021 in the winter months, Cy underwent a Skin Tech Easy TCA Classic Medium Depth Peel to encourage skin resurfacing. Medium depth peels remove the skin cells that make up the epidermis, as well as parts of the middle layer of the skin or dermis. A medium chemical peel can treat consequences of photo ageing, pigmentation disorders, acne and post acne scars, etc.
This gave Cy a flawless finish.
PHASE 5
Cy’s treatments are now maintenance. She visits Age with Elegance Aesthetics every few months to review her skin condition and previous dermal filler treatments. She has had further additions of small amounts of dermal filler to her cheeks and peri-oral area, has approximately 9-12 monthly skin boosters in the form of Teosyal Redensity 1 or Seventy Hyal. She maintains her Botulinium Toxin treatments around every 5 months and continues with her daily Obagi Retinol & Anti-Oxidant Skin Care Regime including year round SPF.
She is about to embark on a course of the revolutionary 3D Dermaforce Microneedling with Radiofrequency to see if we can further address the lines and wrinkles around the mouth area.
Both Cy and Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Care are very proud of her aesthetics journey. She has been patient with the process and has realistic expectations as to what we can achieve.

My Journey I met Cath a few years ago now and can honestly say, I have never met a kinder, more considerate, patient, honest woman who truly cares about people (not only in her day-to-day life) but also in how she makes you feel and truly listens to the goals you would like to achieve. Cath always gives an honest opinion of your goals and if achievable (even if you do not agree) which some may not. I have found Cath to be super supportive in what I was trying to achieve and to help regain my confidence (which, may I add, she has superseded in both respects) I never expected to look the way I do now and all of this is down to Cath and her knowledge, skill, input, kindness and patience. Cath has never let me down and always, always been honest about what is achievable for me because, let’s be honest, once you start a journey like this, you always want more and more even if those goals are not practical. I have been quite ill for a number of years and the condition I had and the treatments I received have taken their toll on me quite badly. My confidence was, shall we say, shattered, I didn’t see any point in anything anymore I was just happy to be alive. I was really down one day and a friend recommended I call and speak to Cath just for a chat to see if she could rebuild my confidence and help me (to be honest I didn’t think this was achievable – how wrong was I 😊). Christina first came to visit Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Care in August 2021. Her main concerns were volume loss, lines and wrinkles and small lips. She has relatively good skin integrity.
PHASE 1
We started her journey by treating the lines and wrinkles to forehead, frown lines and crows feet, and her moderately ‘dimpled’ chin with Botulinium Toxin A in the form of Allergan Botox.
In the same session, we addressed replacing the volume lost to her medial cheeks by using a combination of Teosyal Puresense Ultra Deep to give structural support back to the cheeks and Teosyal RHA 4 dermal fillers to replace lost volume using a multi-layering technique.
We treated her upper lip lines and small lips with Teosyal RHA 2, adding volume and definition to the lips and smoothing out the upper lip lines.
During Cristinas’ second session, we enhanced the naso-labial folds and added slightly more volume to her lips that she still felt was lacking. Both were treated with Teosyal RHA 3 dermal filler.
Cristina is so far delighted with her results!
PHASE 2
Next was to address the ‘saggy’ skin underneath her eyes forming ‘eye bags’. Whilst the reality is that surgery is the only real option to fully rectify this issue, it was felt that there may be some mileage in trying to get some tightening with Plasma Fibroblast treatment. This treatment was undertaken in November 2021. The results were not fantastic but there was some definite improvement, which Cristina was happy with.
PHASE 3
Cristina is very happy with her treatments and the results they have achieved – as you can see – REMARKABLE!! She looks years younger and fresher without looking ‘done’!
She plans to maintain her treatments by having regular anti-wrinkle injections and reviews of her dermal filler treatments.

Victoria is 28. She first visited Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Care in 2020 with on going concerns about her acne prone skin. She has suffered with acne and hormonal break outs since her teenage years and has had multiple therapies from her GP – none of which have really worked. The dark circles around her eyes also bothered her.
PHASE 1
Following an in-depth consultation, she embarked upon a regime of prescriptive therapies from the Obagi Medical Range including the CLENZIderm MD System and Tretinoin to treat her skin.
CLENZIderm M.D. is specifically formulated for acne-prone skin. P. acnes—the bacteria that causes acne— flourishes deep in the pores, making it difficult to reach. CLENZIderm M.D. with 5% benzoyl peroxide (BPO) is uniquely formulated to target acne at the source.
System Includes: –
CLENZIderm M.D. Daily Care Foaming Cleanser: Light cleanser containing 2% salicylic acid to clear up the acne, and menthol to calm and soothe irritated skin.
CLENZIderm M.D.® Pore Therapy: Helps unclog pores and leaves skin feeling refreshed.
CLENZIderm M.D. Therapeutic Lotion: Contains 5% benzoyl peroxide to clear acne.
Tretinoin is a retinoid, meaning it’s a form of vitamin A. Retinoids stimulate cell turnover on the skin. Dead skin cells are cleared off the skin more quickly as new skin cells rise to the surface. Quicker cell turnover opens the pores, releasing trapped bacteria or irritants that are causing acne. Retinoids such as tretinoin also help the skin to regulate its natural oil (sebum) production, which can prevent future breakouts. They also have anti-inflammatory properties, which clear up active acne pustules. Both the Clenziderm system and the Tretinoin are prescription only treatments, which were prescribed for Victoria at her consultation. These treatments had a huge positive impact on Victoria’s skin and within weeks there was a significant improvement. The treatment regime continued for 2 skin cycles then cut back to maintenance once in control of the breakouts. This was the point we could work on the scarring which had accrued over many years of acne break outs.
PHASE 2

PHASE 3
Once we were more in control of Victoria’s skin concerns, we focussed on the dark circles under her eyes.
Initially treated with a course of 3 treatments of Fillmed Beautifeye (NCTF 135HA).
NCTF® 135HA is a unique; Positive Pro-ageing, polyrevitalising solution that provides the dermis with the essential ingredients it needs to thrive. It creates the optimal environment to reboost fibroblasts activity, which are responsible for the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. NCTF® 135HA stimulates the skin without changing the facial features or expressions. Containing free HA, the New Cellular Treatment Factor (NCTF®) smoothes out fine lines, restores radiance, deeply nourishes the skin and increases density of the dermis.
After treating the skin turgor around the eyes which gave a good degree of radiance, we then tried to reduce the shadowing further by injecting a small amount of Teosyal Redensity 2 dermal filler in to the tear trough area.
PHASE 4
More recently, Victoria has undergone a course of the new revolutionary 3D Dermaforce Microneedling with Radiofrequency to help further improve her skin texture and scarring.
3D Dermaforce Microneedling/RF is an advanced method of skin rejuvenation that stimulates the body’s natural healing process. This encourages collagen production in the dermis resulting in rejuvenated and tightened skin. Radio frequency energy is delivered precisely through insulated needles to the dermis heating the collagen fibres to 55ºC–65ºC. This stimulates the body’s natural healing process resulting in the production of collagen and elastin in these areas.
The results of Victoria’s commitment to her skin care are absolutely phenomenal. She continues with her maintenance regime of the Obagi Clenziderm System and daily SPF. The acne scarring has dramatically improved and will continue to improve over the coming months. She will have annual treatments of microneedling with radiofrequency and a medium depth skin peel to keep on top of her skin rejuvenation process.

I have spent so much time, money and effort on skin care products since suffering from adult acne since I was 18 years old. I’ve tried every product out there and this is the only time I can truly say I have been happy with my skin.
